Child Sponsorship for Malawi
Mountain View Church is committed
to sponsor 300 children living in Malawi,
Africa, whose futures are threatened by
poverty, starvation and AIDS. We need
your help! Through a unique partnership
with World Vision and other churches across
the nation, child sponsorship will help
fund the Nkhoma (pronounced en-coma) Area
Development Project (ADP), a community
of approximately 50,000 people living
in a remote and deeply impoverished area
of the country.
For roughly $1 per day ($35
per month), you can provide a child with
food, clean water, shelter, education
and health care. The resources provided
by child sponsorship help fund the Nkhoma
ADP and will support a lasting transformation
within the community, allowing them to
become self sustaining for the sake of
all the children in the community.
By sponsoring a child you
are doing more than providing basic needs
to survive. You will help them thrive!
You get to exchange letters with your
sponsored child and get to know them on
a personal level. I promise you this,
when you read your first letter from your
sponsored child, you will never be the
same. You may not be able to change the
world by yourself, but you can change
the world for this one child.
We have placed the pictures
and profiles of 30 children on this website
below. These are the actual children that
currently need sponsorship.
